All the sp gifts are looking absolutely great. The homemade

Those owl pincushions look fantastic, I have one that was in
one of my February sp gifts and I totally love it. With all the
pin cushions I am getting it became obvious (to me at least)
that I think there is another thing I am collecting LOL. However
I am very "protective" of my homemade items so I am hanging
my pin cushion to put them on display as to sitting them on
my sewing table and using them. The MAIN reason I am doing
this is because I have 3 furkids that would "love" to sink their
claws (and teeth) into my pin cushions. Mr. Gizmo (aka the dude)
is also known for getting them down (even if they are "hidden")
and taking off with them to play, it doesn't matter if they have
pins in them or not. So for the safety of my kids I don't put
pins in any of my pin cushion and to protect my homemade cushions
from becoming a permanent play toy I hang them high out of reach.

I love the sewing machine cover, I really need to make some for
all my machines, I have several patterns but just have not done
    it yet.

    I don't see any pics????

    Default SP March package

I received my SP package today from Jackie aka CAgirl1, I really felt spoiled and will enjoy using all of the things... There were many many pieces of material in that package and a magazine I didn't get into the picture as it was by my chair ready for me to read.. Mento's and York peppermint patties, my favorite, had to stick in the refrigerator as i gave up candy for lent... some needles, a Ladybug timer, what did I forget??? Well I have a picture so you can see all that is there, lots of holiday material guess I need to get busy. Thanks Jackie

They are: Junior Mints which I love, pocket size tissue, measuring tape, two colors of thread, a get squared ruler, a cross stitched picture called Main Street, quilt pattern I need to do called Black and White and Bright All Over, some eyelash yarn which I saw a pattern for when I started crocheting and didn't know what it was and now I actually have some, two fat quarters which are really nice, 18 different colors of embroidery floss, pen and pencil set to use at work or at home, 3 crochet needles, a bobbin box that I really needed, some patterns for knitting and crocheting and a Quilter's Emergency Kit. The kit contains:
Needle pack, Razor blade, bobbin and thread, Emergency Chocolate, Headache Remedy, Pencil and Notepaper, Instruction Sheet, Graph Paper, Safety Pin, Tea Bag, Sugar, Paper clip, Finger Cot, Adhesive Bandage, Chewing Gum, Reflective Signal Surface, Duct Tape and a Quilter's Emergency Tip.

thanks so very much. I couldn't decide what to use first so I ate the Junior Mints. Easy decision.

~Sustraley-my sister and I both started crocheting a few months ago and right off the bat she bought some of the eyelash yarn...the puppy got ahold of it and what a riot! Hope your making better progress than I am....I do about 20 rows to practice and then rip it out and start again haha...nice package that you received!

    HAHAHA

Yeah I KNOW there are no pics of my SP gift from you yet.
I am getting ready to "clear" the table off so I can spread out
all my goodies I got from you.

If that is NOT the pictures you were talking about than details
about what pics you want lol.

YES I am a blonde (again) as I just had my hair redone yesterday
so I can honestly say the blonde roots are showing.

Oh by the way the furkids said THANK YOU for their treats, I gave
each one 3 treats each last night. Kiko and Nim didn't even chew
them they sucked them down like they were hoover vacuums. The
dude ate his like he was mister prim and proper all delicate. Bandie
my poor old-timer just could not eat them because she has very
few teeth left so she tried to lick them to death, but gave up.

NOW for the funny part of that when Bandie couldn't eat them she
got up and moved away and the ever present Gizmo was sitting close
so he figured open season on the treats he picks one up, just as he
did Bandie growled and hissed at him he spit it back out and sat back
to see if she would eat it when she made no attempt to eat them, he
stretched out a paw to drag the pieces closer to him and away from
    her.

    To BOTH my secret pals

BOTH of my boxes will be picked up tomorrow of course my mailman
won't be to happy with me for requesting this pick up service since I
live on the third floor and there is NO elevator haha.

Both boxes are going EAST of me
    Both have cats
Both like to sew (haha gotcha)
Both have been quilting less then 10 years
Both wanted fabric (and I sent fabric!!!! plus lots of other goodies)
Neither one has an embroidery machine

Now I want to apologize to my sp's for NOT making them
something special this month. I will make that up to you.

My daughter moved out last weekend FINALLY so now it is
a work in progress to get all my fabric moved back into the
    room.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the cute little OWL pincushins! My SP pkg. is on its way!! Going west of Washington! HUMMMMMM???? It snowed late last night in our area late last night, and off and on all day. Stuck alittle then the suncame out. It is still cold out too. CRAZY weather ! I do believe the calendar says winter for one more week... the trees are starting to bud out and daffs are ready to bloom. And its 80' in Georgia where a dear friend lives... She didn't want to come up and play in the snow. HAPPY SEWING !

it was 80 degrees here yesterday and today and our daffs are already up. i threw my collected furbabies hair out today for the birds to include in their nests. they have been chasing each other around and singing solos so i guess its mating season now. this weather is just the kookiest.

i will come play in the snow. i missed winter this year but it seems real winter escaped most of the country this year. i guess i need to visit siberia in the wintertime if i really want winter. thx on the owls.

i have mailed all of my secret pal packages today. since my brain still has a bit of fog in it, i forgot a coupla items again. i didnt notice until i got home from the post office and they were still sitting on the table. i should have known i forgot something since i still had a little room left in the package and i could close the tops without much trouble and i didnt need a bunch of tape. oh well i will get better at this. i have had a rough 2 weeks but things are looking sunnier now.
