You know what, I have found that when I have my prints picked out for the best scrappiness I can get (you know random doesn't come easy!!) and it's working like I want it to, then I find some way to work in some kind of polka dots or circles somewhere, not always a lot, maybe just a touch.
Somehow it adds something sort of whimsical and contemporary, but yet does not detract form the "traditional" look.
Most of the time this works out really well.

I agree with you about the polka dots or circles, they are so happy to look at and seem to match most everything! I love them too. You DQ is adorable!

I just received a grand quilt from skowjudy. It is gorgeous!!!

My computer is having issues. so I can't post pictures. Do know that I simply love your work. The quilt will hang with honor in my sewing room ( as soon as my daughter moves out and I get the room rearranged.)

    Have a grand day !!!

We have seen so many great doll quilts--my granddaughters would love to play with them all! I find them "stealing" from Gma's stash of little quilts all the time--they have to wrap those babies in something!

I am finally getting my pictures posted for the May Doll Quilt I received from thequilterslink. Thank you, and it will look great with the rest of my collection. Also thanks for the fat quarters. I am sure they will be used in some project.
