I am usually so prompt with my Doll Quilts, but this month was horrendous. First my daughter (and all her stuff came home from school), then we decide to replace the carpet in the living room and dining room with hardwood flooring. As a result my sewing machine was lost for about 2 weeks. I did finish my quilt on Saturday - but forgetful me left it in the kitchen table yesterday on my way to work.

So it is now finally in the mail and winging its way west to its new home.

I finally sent my doll quilt to Grama Lehr today. I'm so glad to have it done. Wish it was better though. Took time off from quilting and boy did it show. I know she'll forgive me.

I have sure seen some nice quilts this month... Beautiful work everybody.

Here is the beautiful DQ I received from Crafty3790. Sorry it took so long to post the picture, but I've been away from home. She also sent me the leftover HS triangles cut from the ones she used in the quilt -- how did you know that I collect them? I never throw those cut-offs away and am working towards an "orphan" quilt with all of them. Thanks again, Crafty. Your quilt is already on my wall.

The quilts this month have been fantastic! There are some really tough acts to follow out there. I especially love all the scrappy-looking ones. Lots of motivation and inspiration ...

Hope you can make out the beautiful oriental fabrics used
