Quiltermomma and Moonrise......great quilts. Wow. I am still working on mine. It does take time to do the embroidery. that quilt that sold for $70,000 came from Australia. I read it somewhere but can't remember where.
I can't imagine someone paying that much but kudos for the person who made it and then sold it.

I agree, it sure wasn't worth $70,000! Too rich for my taste!

At least we know we can make them for less than that. I wonder what the hourly rate was she charged for making that quilt. I could stand to make that per hour then.

Hahaha! I think that if YOU made it, you'd think it was worth $70G. I know I would!

Well nobody in their RIGHT mind would buy it so I'd wind up keeping it. I'd like to THINK my quilts were worth that much but I'm SANE! Unless it was solid GOLD!

    Moonrise,
    What a beautiful quilt!
Sure hope I can join in next month.
Is there going to be a theme?

Oh help....I so need encouragement. My partner is done but I am really having trouble with this. I have scrapped three attempts.
My DH has come to check on me several times saying "You ok? Your language is getting pretty bad back here."
