My wonderful partner received my DQ, she isn't able to take a pic so I will post one for her ![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
I had never done crazy quilting before, and after seeing what has been posted so far I'm not sure I did it this time either, LOL. We will call it crazy quilt inspired![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
This was also my first time playing with the big stitch quilting (I used pearl cotton). The applique I wanted a little "fatter"so I quilted 3 layers (top, batting and backing), left the edge raw and hand appliqued to the top just inside of the edge. I used organza ribbon for the binding, I sat with the quilt for a while unbound because I couldn't decide what kind of binding it needed, then I found that ribbon while going through a sewing box! I really did have a lot of fun playing with new ideas and techniques!

OMG! That is so gorgeous! I am loving all the sneek peeks and full shots! With each one, I think I have to do something like that! All I can say is WOW! I hope mine is liked half as much, I would be pleased. This is such great fun, and I am really enjoying all my new friends.
