Looks like tomorrow is going to be a good day for pictures! lynnie it isn't necessary to divide hostas. The will just get bigger, slowing down some as the years go by (as do we all). Dividing them is just a way to either get a second plant for free, or reduce the size if they are getting too big for their home.

I have hostas also. I love them because you don't need a green thumb which I clearly do not have. They come back every year all by themselves and they are always beautiful! I love love love flowers, and plants and trees but unfortunately I have tried gardening and I am not very good at it. I tend to kill everything I plant. lol

thanks lauriejo, mine are getting big. but glad i don't have to divide them. they started out about 3 leaves each. looked like they'd die, and 3 yrs. later, they're the picture of King Kong health. I haven't fertilized them either. Little buggers!
Mary, I thought you ment you got your pc and nc already. Mine should arrive tomorrow, but probably on sat, so keep an eye out for it. dreary here today and rainy. If you have nice weather, enjoy it.

My pincushion went out today. It will delivered on Monday, so says the post office. I always forget to take a picture after it is already packed and ready to mail. Today I was able to unpack it without too much trouble and take a picture. If my partner cannot post a picture I will have one.

My son's girlfriend called me last night to tell me that she loved the tablerunner I made her. I'm so glad.
It's only May 8th and it's already supposed to be 90* today. I really need to get back up north as soon as I can. I can't take the heat. At least the humidity isn't too bad yet but it's coming soon.

Wow, some of you ladies are in to the warm season! We woke up to snow on the ground here in my part of Colorado. But it did get up to a sweltering 50-some degrees. Sunny, cloudy, windy, snowy....we've had it all today.

Well ----- DON'T BE JEALOUS ----- ok, you can be a little jealous...
Look what came to me from NanaKathy55 today!!! I love it!! My 10yo quilter-to-be says, "Oh, Oh, Oh, Mommy! That is so cute! Can I have it?" Ha, ha, no way! This is the girl who makes me do doubles of everything I send out because she just has to have one, too.

NanaKathy, you are amazing! Thank you for this beauty!
