Oh my gosh, that poor baby puppy! I was just sick reading of what that little guy went through, I can understand why you were physically sick over it. I hope everything will turn out fine for him and that he will get over this trauma quickly, you too! I feel so bad for him I could cry.

I feel terrible for you both! I am glad that it is not even more serious for the pup than it already was. Does the little guy seem traumatized? It will probably take the whole month off for you to recover!!!

Oh Dwina, I feel so badly for you. You've had quite an eventful year so far, and such drama. This was the last thing you needed. My heart goes out to you. I can't imagine what you went thru with the puppy on that hour long ride to the vet. Thank God,, he's o.k.I know you must have thought the worst. He'll be on the mend soon, and hopefully you too will be feeling better. Maybe it's good that you sit this one out and give yourself some time. You need some sunshine and nice weather to make you feel better. I hope you feel better really soon and your puppy too.

Dwina -- I'm sorry that happened to your puppy! How traumatized you both are! I cannot imagine such a thing happening. I'd've been beside myself. I hope the little guy mends quickly & that his eye is okay. What a dreadful experience for you both!

I wouldn't mind doing a set this month if Karen hasn't got all the names out yet. Chummy is going to be all right. Thanks for all of the get well wishes. I never want to experience that again. He is just the most sweetest puppy. He is so happy and jolly. We are giving him a lot of attention, plus he keeps getting check-ups from me. I check to make sure there are no more battle scares and that his eye and neck are ok. I bought an eight panel yard for him and have it set up in my living room. I took him out and was trying to get the cats fishing toy out from the packaging. I was going to play with him and the cat. I took him on a little walk today and let him play on the front deck, but DH does not think that's a good idea. We have a lot of eagles and before I could even react, the eagle would have him. Our dog groomer had an eagle swoop down and take one of her chickens. She tried to run and get the chicken but there was no way she could.
