Jaba sorry about these late wishes for your birthday. Sounds like you had great plans for the day. happy Birthday anyways. I just got on here a bit ago. Dwina, I didn't enlarge the pair I sent you. I think the next ones I make I will make the pattern at least 1 inch larger all around. Poor little puppy.Many years ago maybe 30 or so a Hawk swooped down and grabbed one of my hens and I picked up a piece of brick ( Maybe as big as my fist) I threw it at the hawk and hit the sucker and it dropped my hen.They were only about 15 feet off the ground. If you ever seen me pitch you would really be surprised I hit it. The hen died 2 days later I believe it was from the fall. Usually a chicken will see the shadow of a hawk or eagle and run for cover. Take care of your babies and give them both a big hug.

we have a few hawks around here, but I never thought of them swooping down and taking a puppy. how horrible that must be. Dwina, so glad the little guy is doing better. Must have been a horror trip for him too, but it's all over now and you both are on the mend from that. I told dh about that, an he said it had to be a mistake, b/c poodles are so gentle. Glad you're back to chatting again on the board too. It's nice out today, hope everyone has a beautiful day today.

I have my pal, chose the fabric for her needle case, now I can begin sewing.

I have started on the pincushion for my special person. I have some very pretty fabric I am using, and have it about half done. I hope she will like it. I think it will fit the theme for this month.

Finished mine today and will get it packaged up and hopefully send tomorrow. Tried to find one of her favorite spring flowers but that didn't happen so hope she likes my substitute.
