Well i did the same as June billie. One look at the card I was making and in the garbage it went. I thought I had a great idea but in reality it didnt work. I have another one almost finished so it will get to its new home on time, fingers crossed.

Lucky_alf2 really had me going. I loved the sneak peek, but that one little part looked like a little centipede on one part of it. I thought wow! hehe. Then when I received my beautiful card I seen what it was. It was the effect of the sewn thread around the curve. 
I want to make or find me the perfect box to sit out on my living room table as a conversation piece to put all my fabric post cards in. I seen something done like that on some website I was looking around at one day. Theirs looked like a tiny chest with the top open, and all the cards sitting on their sides where company etc. could see them if they were interested. To make it sort of a cottage style they had in their house, the had a little crocheted doily or old fashioned handkerchief hanging over one side of the little trunk. It was really cute.

What a neat SWAP! I am not a member but I am a LURKER hoping to see what these Postcards are all about. It looks like you ladies are sure having fun and such talented and creative pieces!! LOVE THESE!

Okay ladies, I have heard from all but 3 of our swappers so far that they have mailed off. We still have 5 days until the swap deadline to mail. Plenty of time to surprise our partners.
