I think because if you put fabric in an envelope it is squishy the package will be squishable.
    Okay, thank you..:)
She's right. squishies are soft packages that you can squish and firmies are boxes not squeezable. Cute huh? Don't know who started calling them that but we all seem to have picked up the names. Mary
Squishies and firmies...have to remember that...thankyou..:)
I well remember the discussion when someone first asked on here what to call a pkg that wasn't a squishie. It got a big racy!! LOL A pkg that isn't soft but is actually hard as in a hard backed book! You can probably image some of the suggestions! LOL
    I'm sure...:)

My SP was Cheryl W. Wow, lets see if I can list everything. Some wonderful fabric, (I am having a hard time picking the prettiest), a recipe book, a magazine, a note pad, a bookmark, some cute scissor charms, Jelly beans (yummy), a little flag, pins, thread (such lovely bright colors), a treat for Nina and she was so thoughtful she sent some stick on letters for our upcoming VBS.

Wow, Cheryl thank you so much, I love it all. What a nice surprise after a hard day at work.
Oo... love that themed fabric also. Who does that line? Mm and recipes and thread and more pretties. Great box!

Love you swap package. I am using the same cupcake/cherry fabrics in my granddaughter's quilt. I found mine at JoAnn's.

    Hurray!!!!!

I received my SP swap package today from 3norwichterr!!! What amazing gifts she sent me!!! The batik fabrics -- oh they are to drool over. She sent me what looks like 2 yards of a blue batik and also some 10 inch squares of various batik colors. The gum and chocolate - yum!!! The bear pin is adorable and I think I will wear him to work one day. He is too cute not to show off. The mini book and paper clips are wonderful. The stick pins are awesome as well. 1 of these days I have got to learn how to do that. And the book is great as well. Something that I haven't read. I usually stick with only a couple authors, so that opens up to receiving just about anything.
I will try to take a pic with my camera, if it will cooperate and try and post. Thank you again Deby for the wonderful box of goodies!!

oh my goodness, i received the most wonderful package in the mail yesterday!!! (sorry for the delayed post - stayed up all night studying for a test today) Thank you so much crafty grammie, you really made my week.
She sent some wonderful fat quarters in my favorite colors, some I-spy fabrics (love them), 2 pattern sheets, A seam reaper (always need another one of those), some binding clips (which I have been wanting to try), some beautiful stationary, chipboard albums for scrap-booking along with some stickers and ribbons..a nail file, some lipstick samples and CANDY!! - PEZ, gummies, Jelly Bellies and some mints in an adorable quilting tin.
And she also sent an adorable stethoscope cover and a nursing magnet, which is so thoughtful - I graduate from nursing school in 2 weeks!!

I feel so pampered, thank you so very much!!

    All the goodies

I tell you there have been YUMMY swap packages in May. This was my first time to ever do anything like this. I've had as much fun hearing about everyone's surprises and seeing all the photos posted as I had opening my own package.
