I'm still on the bench and am away from home for a couple of weeks. I'll be checking in so I may be able to at least acknowledge that the package has arrived. We may be home for one day so that will be a sweet surprise. :-) Did someone say something about cookies? I love cookies.

How are other Canadians handling this?
Speaking for myself, I wouldn't mind waiting for my squishy if it was delayed due to a postal strike. I would hate for you to miss the swap!

    Thats interesting Lori.
Maybe Someone could go over the guildlines for mailing outside the US.
Like cost, time frame , How do you mail with tracking?
And what you can send, candy, seeds.

I have only mailed outside the US To APO addresses.

I know that there is not a lot of time left, but am still thinking about signing up for June. Maybe could just squeeze it in amongst everything else.

I am also planning to sign up for June just need to get some time to fill in the form.

I would like some guidelines on international posting. i get tracking on mine and it is not only expensive but so limiting on how much you can put in the package. I do quite a bit of online shopping from the US and it is only ever sent ordinary post which allows a much heavier package and so far have had no problems with mail not arriving. Here in UK you can get a receipt which proves that you have posted a package. I know I am unable to send books or magazines cos it would be too heavy and make the postage way too expensive. I don't know if you have any thoughts on that Lori.

I am already planning my package to send and hope to get it out really early so my partner doesnt have to wait till the end of the month like TF Quilter. Eileen

I agree, I would rather wait for a package than have someone not sign up because there may be a postal strike. I'd hate for anyone to miss the fun.
