I would like some guidelines on international shipping. I shipped to the Netherlands this month and it cost 1 1/2 what the package cost and then I found out I couldn't track it once it left the country so what is the point in paying extra for delivery confirmation.

Luckily my package arrived fairly quickly and my SP let me know she got it right away.

I love your pincushion, it would be perfect for places where you like to sit and do hand sewing in your house where you could stash a project. Nice squishie.

What woluld you think of not having to have delivery confirmation ONLY ON INTERNATIONAL packages? Would this help? Again this is ONLY for people mailing internatinally

Ok with me. It was $15 to mail to England.

I am fine with not doing tracked mail for international, I will probably still pay the same for postage but will be able to be more creative with the things I send.

Will that prevent folks from having to be home to sign for their package? If so, that may make it easier for the packages to reach their destinations more quickly. We are away a good bit during the summer on Fri and Sat so if the post office tried to deliver to me on those days we may not be there.

This would only be an issue if your secret pal is not in the US. Mailing without tracking is only being discussed for international mailings.

I think that would be fine, does any one know what you can and can not send?

I think mailing without tracking makes sense for international. You will have your customs form for proof of mailing, and it isn't going to get tracked anyway once it leaves the country.
