I have to repeat what one person said a few pages back, looks like the 10.00 limit has gone out the door. My first SP swap and I struck to it and it's not looking anything like these piles. OH WELL..Hope my SP likes her few things.

So I am posting a thank you on here hoping it is my May SP. She went way above the call of duty on this one! She sent me a christmas panel and 4 coordinating fabrics in all of my favorite colors!, the cutest piece of material with quilt labels all over it,4 magazines, recipe cards, post it page markers, one of my favorite candies werthers and werthers chocolate carmels which I have never had But, Chocolate is my other favorite candy so I bet they are yummy!!! and a beautiful string angle!(I wonder if she made it herself?)Thank You so much SIK1010 I love everything. The panel will make an adorable wall hanging and I am going to love lookin through the magazines while enjoying the chocolates:)
I hope I posted on the right month please let me know if I got it wrong. I had lots of help unpacking the box. My helpers had to check it out and see if there was anything for them!

I do keep mine 10 dollars, I buy when I see good sales, I repurpose( use books I have read and pass along so do not count that or things from my stash. I just came home from a camping trip and made a lot of purchases for many more Sp packages and most cost 50-1.00. I try to make something if I have the time also. What I actually spend I try to keep at 10 dollars.

see the granny squares I got from busy mom last month? The yarn Sue sent is an EXACT match for the multi colored squares, happy, happy dance.

Today, I got a great deal on some old quilt magazines (1980s and 1990s) I got them for me, but would someone else like a couple slid into their SP package?

I even love looking at old mags from the 30's, 40's 50's. Even the prices in the ads are so funny, I keep thinking or if only I was a quilter back then this book would have only been a dollar or two, then I realize that back then a dollar or 2 would have been proportonally the same! :-) :-)

I love looking at old quilt mags and books and so on, to see how we would use today's quick methods like rotary cutting, strip piecing, tube cutting and altho I have only one project a 4 yr long "quick" summer quilt-what was I thinking, ruffled panels before I realized what a ruffler would do and I hand pulled 16 strips of fabric to ruffle it- and now I laid it over the bed and realized I need to add a couple of end panels, I still think it's a cute summer quilt. When I get it finished finally, I'll post it here
