Thanks for the compliments! I have no idea if it has a name. I was trying to go for the look of a formal garden. The 12 outside blocks are just HST. For the middle 4, I inserted a strip into the center of each block, like you would do with the stem on a maple leaf block.

We don't know the status of her home, but when she makes contact I would like to facilitate some care packages for her. If you know Donna you will know that she always goes further to help others and goes 110% for her swappers and people on the board.
As soon as I hear we will get in gear. Hope you all will participate. One of the suggestions is send her gift cards for places like Target, Walmart, grocery stores in her town, Joann's etc. So she could get things she might need now.
My hand is in, hope you will help her too.
    All the best,
    Roberto
Robert...you are so big hearted! Donna and I are in contact..she is fine and collecting quilts, beddings, etc for others who were victims of this storm. Here is a quote from Donna on her thread: "I'm just one of many who escape the tornadoes today! But a lot of folks have loss there children and vice-versa please if you pray, pray for these families of many!
Missed my home by 1.5 miles the Lord was with us today!"
Donna .....and here's the thread: http://www.quiltingboard.com/general...m-t221963.html

This was a PM shared with the Admin of another swap that I and Luv2sew2011 are in. Hopefully, it gives a little more information.

    Hi,
Thanks for thinking of us here in Oklahoma. I finally got out and look around and you have no ideals how many people have loss there home, my heart breaks for them, I so wanted to help with there clean up but not physically able to do that. :-( I hope making quilts that I'm able to help in some way.
God Bless you! Today another day of storms, its raining right now just what those people need! :-(
    Take Care,
    Donna

So glad to hear she's good. Let's all keep the others there in our thoughts.
