    I received two adorable blocks from Aully today. I love both the fabrics that she used! Thanks!

    Cyndi, I posted a picture of your block on the other thread.

    Here's a picture of the Klondike Star I sent CyndiH. I used a pattern from Marcia Holm at The Quilter's Cache.

    Her outdoor theme was kind of difficult for me. I wish I knew how to applique. My first thought was I can make a tree...NOT. Lets just say I think I'll take a class. Cyndi ended up with my second ever paper pieced block. I was lucky that I found the pinecone fabric. Still wished I could have figured out how to make a tree. I'm going to have to work on that.

    That's one of the many things I love about this swap - it challenges us to try new techniques, explore new patterns, improve our skills along the way, and become each others' inspiration. :thumbup:
