    How big should I go for a lap/throw? 25 blocks?

    I think you need a few polka dot animals. The first 2 are stunning as is! I am looking at my kitty cat patterns!

    Wow Dotty -- those quilts are going to be spectacular!!! I love the tree blocks, all so different yet blend together. The sunshine blocks are totally sunshine -- beautiful and bright and uplifting. Can't wait to see them all put together. Be sure to post.

    I usually make lap throws 60" x 72" - long enough to cover up if you lay down for a quick snooze on the couch. Then turned the other way, wide enough to cover two people sitting up and reading or watching TV. Could get by with 4 rows by 5 rows long with sashing and borders.

    P.S. Is the house quilt done yet?
