To Deforsee....Diane, I sent your September block off to you today. You should start to look for it saturday or monday. Sure hope you like it. I sure enjoyed making it. After I think you have recieved it I will send in a photo if that is alright. So sorry it is late. Feeling so much better and glad to be back in the sewing room.

I was so lucky to have been assigned Abonda as my October swap partner. We decided to swap two blocks. Her two beautiful blocks arrived today. Stunning, as usual. The red is more of a ruby than shows here and the complimenting fabric is a richer green, and the colors in the second block are gorgeous- the same wonderful green with turquoise and purple. Wow. Just gorgeous. Thank you, Andrea, I love them both.

Need to figure out why my new camera doesn't take true colors.

Just a short comment from my corner, do we not have the entire month to make this block and get it posted to the partner? I know some are eager beavers and get them sent as soon as they have a partner assigned, as for myself, I'm not that fast and second I'm in no great hurry for my partner to get the block to me, just that it is sent by end of month and I'm notified to look for it in the mail. You are all wonderful quilting friends and I enjoy the photos and comments on others' fun blocks. Wait until you see what we do with them all. LOL

Willi you are correct in assuming that you have until the last day to mail it. Just have fun n making it that is what this swap is for, learning new things, and having fun.

Dannypanny - check your profile page. Sometimes your notifications box gets unchecked.
