Sounds like a Burgundy to me. Sounds like a amreicana primitive color scheme....
    LOL

I am having a bit of difficulty on my partners block. She has "wine", beige, and blue. Now is the wine red, blush or white? How do classify beige, tan? The blue I can handle. Any suggestions?[/QUOTE]

Wine is a deep burgundy. Beige has a more forward a pink tan then a yellow tan. At least that's my opinion for what that's worth.

Ok, that helps. i get the beige and tan mixed up so now I know what to look for in the stash. I may have a wine/burgandy that will work.

Okay, when you sort your stash, I think wine is the color you can't decide if it belongs in the reds or the purples pile. I think of beige as being lighter than tan but darker than cream. There is so much variation in colors you have a lot of wiggle room.

I think wine is the deep color--claret or burgundy. Have violin fabric and a real cool star pattern, so I'm ready to start. If they are done by the end of the week, that will be way early for me. Do you ever wonder whether, if we describe colors differently, we also see them differently? Supposedly men and women see colors differently, but is it a more individual thing that that?
