    Hi all,
My partner, Joyce Rowell, and I have completed our swap blocks and they are in the mail today to each other.

I have her permission to post a picture of the block I created for her. She requested any blue and yellow block. It was with great trepidation I shared the yellow fabric I used for her block. Several years ago my husband presented me with a very heavy, robe size box at Christmas; it was filled with to overstuffed with fat quarters that he hand picked and the yellow fabric was part of that gift!

I hope the block meets your muster, Joyce.

    Best,
deb in Maine (down the road about 40 miles from my swap partner

Whigrose that is a very pretty block you made. I am to make one with a white backgrown, and then black and yellow. The dark with the yellow in your block made me think of that.

I thought before I go to working on my quilt block I'd shout out that tomorrow is suppose to 27 degrees. Celebrate, celebrate by leaving the house and going to my grandsons distrct wrestling tournament. I hope it doesn't backfire. It's a 2 hr. drive so when it's 10-20 blow I don't like being out on the hi way. Mu hubby doesn't go because of his breathing. Golly sakes I just thought about Walmart being open all night. I just may have to detour into Lincoln and look over fabric, it would only be 8 mi. out of the way. Can't we always find someway to buy fabric? Everyone have a blessed weekend. I was wondering if I could request a hand with a quilt I'm making and sorely need help with. I could mail pattern and fabric to whoever.

I have received my wonderful red and white log cabin block from Joyce Rowell.

She should have received hers a few days ago.

Thank you Joyce for being my swappie this month.
