Received and opened my SS box from Donna. So many lovely things. Than You so much. My twin 8 year old granddaughters helped and were so excited.

Thank you so much Jean for letting us know. I just got my computer running again. I certainly will post her a note.

It is with sadness that I let all the Bee'ers know that Linda McDermott (Elisabrat) passed today.. Heaven gained another Angel today. As posted earlier, she has been in hospice care for the last week..

Over on the mug rug swap, some of us are honoring our friendship with Elisabrat by making mini quilts. Jaba will take these to cheer up the hospice, where Linda spent her last days. I am suggesting an optional theme of "Linda's Garden".
No rules, no deadline. Or do your own thing. If you have a particular memory, a note to the family would be nice.

Oh my goodness I am so sad about this. I have been away for at least a year and opened up the thread to see this bit of news......I cant even imagine.....

I wanted to ask if I could come back and participate. I miss the friendships and chatter about beautiful quilts, making memories and being creative.
If someone could send me an address I would love to send a card?

[QUOTE=Oksewnsew;7384904][FONT=georgia][SIZE=4][COLOR=#b22222]Hi ya'all... Glad to see pretty blocks being sent and received. Let me ask you a question, what do you think we do ya'all think of not doing the swap for December? I know a lot have so much to do and might like the month off. If I don't hear any objections, I think we'll just start back up in January. I will post another posting closer to end of month just to remind all..

Hope all have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy lotsa good stuff..

    Hi my dear neighbor!

I wanted to see if I could come back in January. I have been gone for too long and the stress of running a middle school is making my heart heavy. I need contact with my quilting friends and of course to see if it is all right to begin again?

My email is [email protected] and you can always send me a message here.....I was shocked to hear about the passing of one of our quilters.......life is so darned hard sometimes.....look forward to hearing from you!

I am so sad to hear of Linda's passing. I have her address but can't find it now. It is probably an old address any way. Would someone PM me so I can send a card. In the meantime I will be working on a mini quilt to send to jaba for her.
