Got home this morning from our Marathon drive to Texas and what a wonderful surprise my block plus a extra one was waiting for me. I still have not conquered down loading pictures on here. I thought I had but it is not working. But I got one of the block I requested "Boxy Star" in brown, beige, teals, terracotta with beige or cream as the back ground. My added surprise was a spool block with a cream/beige back ground.

I'm half finished with one block and nearly done with the second -- just have to add a few details. I'm excited about the second one -- it's a building and it looks close to how I'd envisioned it. Tomorrow I'll post photos.

I've received 5 new blocks in the ail. The first is from Oksewnsew and it's a lovely red and white block. I love the block. I'd really like to have the pattern The second set is from Roberto. We exchanged additional squares and he sent me some lovely batik blocks. Thank you both. They'll be a great in their respective quilts
