Merry Christmas to all. Despite the funeral we had a lovely Christmas. All 4 kids, spouses and grandchildren were here, how wonderful is that.

Terriamn, I am glad you had all the family around you. That is truly such a special gift. You can't buy that one!

The clock is ticking on my blocks.. Never fear, partners! I am good for them. Santa did not bring me the gift of time this year, but there are still five days left in the month, right? Phew.

Sometimes family is the best present for Christmas. God knows what it takes to heal a heart.
    We were praying for you.

anyone having a brain cramp on what they want coming the new year? are you all sticking with your original requests or have they changed? I am thinking of changing mine thought I had now that same brain freeze is saying maybe you didn't! oh dear! like maybe I need chicken blocks or perhaps .. bright summer prints or.. oh heck I just dont know. good thing I have oh maybe four days to figure this out. ahhh! today is testing day last two of three tests for my transplant requirements. they have so many types of testing one has to do in order to get on a list. I am on one in CA but hoping to get on the one in Denver too. So busy day crossing fingers all goes well. One is a heart stress test its not terrifically fun. they pump you full of adrenaline like stuff and you feel pretty darn raced out. oh joy.. worth it however.

Brat, good luck with your tests, my husband went through a ton of tests twice for his heart transplant. He had to go through them originally to be on the list and then a second time before they would list him as 1A just before the transplant. I know they were bothersome but he didn't seem to mind, of course by that time he had been through so much I guess nothing mattered. I will keep you in my prayers today, hoping all goes as needed to be listed.

As far as the brain cramp - that's a polite term for my brain. Mine has been somewhere unknown lately, plus husband's brain is driving me nuts, his meds make him forgetful but in his mind he isn't so he is always telling me things he thinks I said or he said and I swear we never had such a conversation. Sometimes I think he is either trying to drive me nuts or I am getting Alzheimer's! We spend a lot of time saying - yes I did, no you didn't........phew!

You did post them Brat, but thank you for ensuring they were seen. Good luck in your transplant endeavors. My mom went through a lung transplant a few years ago.

I'm happy the holidays are over. I was having the brain problems before because I had so much to do before they arrived. So, time to put my sewing room in order and decide what needs to be finished this year.
