Brat, glad you are back! I'm sorry that you are having health issues. Big hugs, and I'm sorry that there are problems with the group. I am hoping to get my sewing done soon!
Big hugs to you and prayers for better news. Big hugs to everyone who is having issues of any kind in your lives right now, my thoughts are with you all and a big thanks to all the friends I've met here!!

    Brat,
I posted my reply on the fq swap.
You should NEVER have had to even write a post like you just wrote.
Jaba is awesome with all of her stuff, and I know she's extremely capable of taking care of things for you when you're off. But Jaba has to know...meaning pms have to go to her..

    Brat,
    You take care of YOU!

And as I said in the other swap,

Brat likes running these swaps because it takes her mind off of her health issues... but she has to have help, meaning when she's out, we swappers need to follow up with whomever she has appointed as
"temporary hostess". She needs positive support.
I can only hope next time things will go smoother all around..

    JuneBillie,
You crack me up! And I love ya, girl....

    Regards,
    Kif

Yes, the instructions were really clear here about Jaba filling in. So 52 people just didn't read the thread. Simple as that. Shake it off, Brat and just don't worry about it. There is still over 2 weeks til the mailing deadline, so if people who still want to swap will write to Jaba now, I'm sure she can pair them up. They need to read this WHOLE THREAD, tho. Reading a thread for a swap you are a member in should be a must.

BRAT: I think your doing a fine job at a challenging task. We all need to REMEMBER we are human and things can get messed up here and there. No reason to get to bent outta shape at someone who VOLUNTEERS their time and efforts for folks to have fun. FOR any who complained take on the task and I just bet you might find its a lot of effort to keep things straight.

Linda, take care of yourself and get your strength built back up. Like the rest of us here on QB has said, don’t let the negative emails get you down. I would be more than happy to help you out as I have hosted swaps before and I know the head aches involved JBy the way my sister sends hugs to you.

I'm so sorry, Linda, that you came home to so much negativity. But you have to put yourself first right now, so letting someone else handle things for the time being is the right thing to do. I know you were just being sweet to let the swap continue in your temporary absence -- stuff apparently got out of hand. Take care of yourself!

Each of you is so very sweet for the kind words and know they are truly appreciated. I apologize for yesterday. I lost it and it wasn't the right place to put it. Jaba does a great job but she did have to know of the problems. If I say there is another hostess temp. while I am recovering I mean there is another hostess while I am out. Writing me when I am gone.. well is fairly useless. I should have just said my peace with those who made the noise and not put it public here on the board. for that I am very sorry to all of you. Next time I will try harder to keep things where they belong. *unless I forget again lol

I am dying to see what is being made! do we have 2 dozen sneak peaks? 30? NO? NOOO??? oh no! I am like a kid in a candy shop always hoping for more more more. bet your getting curious what we will be making next month. Its not easter unless specifically you ask for that. Don't want to exclude anyone for Easter if that truly is what your wanting but it will be good. will start giving out clues next week. first person to guess what it is in a one guess challenge will win a special prize from me! nope its not a back rub and its not chicken. anything else however is open maybe buttons? or.. threads... or... one never knows. a yard of pretty fabric??? oh anything is lovely in my minds eye but will make sure its a special prize based on you and what you have talked about on the board!
