Very cute rug and package you got Vitality!
Dee, I'm excited to see what you sent! Will be on the lookout.
Jan Rutheford, glad your sister is well enough to come home from the hospital. Loved ones in the hospital really throw life off-kilter for a while...
There is still plenty of time until the FEB 26 mailing deadline, so those who haven't mailed yet shouldn't stress. Just have fun.

Ladies, you are making me feel much better about myself as a swap partner and good to know I'm not the last man off a sinking vessel.
Off to a LQ , 55 minute trip, one way . But then again, it seems like we're 50 minutes to any where anyway. Looking to muster up some fabric, again, for another swap. I love this shop, just not the travel. She has an incredible batik section, a vast amount of books, big parking area and an inside bathroom. <giggle. just couldn't help myself)
Put a big pot of soup on to simmer, some corn bread or focaccia in the oven, Lena Horne on Pandora and some new fabric, I'll weather this storm just fine.
Best,
deb in Maine- and 'snow' it goes again. Or still?

Enjoy that lqs visit!!
And to all of our QB family who are weathering the snows, stay safe, as warm as you can, and try to keep in mind at least Spring is closer today than it was yesterday...
Though in 2013, the end of February, we got 19+ inches of snow in like 18 hours.

So, you just never know about snow (sorry for bad rhyme)

Kif

rwquilts, thank you so much 'Get out of jail free' card. I have a tendency to put a lot of pressure on myself.
OH MY! (yes, I meant the caps back from the NSLQS. I found some absolutely luscious green focal fabric and friends. Come on washer. Beep, beep, beep. Also found what I hope will be fun fabric to make a large-ess round coiled mat for the kitchen. Unfortunately, that has to go into a different load than that wonderful green fabric - don't want any chance to ruin it with some 'play stuff'. Another stop yielded some serger thread to alter some sleeves for dh.
All this makes me ready for the next storm. And, with any amount of luck, I will produce a final MR top that pleases me.
Can a sewist ever have too many machines, or too much fabric?

Bummer about all the snow you guys are getting. Please don't hate me but daffodils are starting to bloom here.
Also this time last year we had snow then an ice storm with 1"+ ice. Looked like a war zone with all the downed trees.
