Vita, Good for you. The first three weeks are the toughest. Cold turkey is the hardest way but most effective (IMHO). Cheers for you in New Mexico!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Letsquit/Pat!!! Such a beautiful mug rug and wonderful goodies to boot! How did you know I really needed a new pin cushion and pin card holder (it's a good thing you're trying to get me somewhat organized) - such talent with her embroidery machine! Amongst all this, there were 2 fat quarters (green and purple - favorite colors!), and of course, something to quench my thirst as I quilt away
Lovely mug rug! Everything coordinates beautifully! The detailed quilting almost makes it seem like the dragonfly is moving! Great Swap!

Vita, after smoking for 44 years, I quit cold turkey 5 years ago. That was because I ended up in the ER unable to breathe. It literally scared the hell out of me. I had tried all different ways to quit from patches, gum, hypnosis, acupuncture but nothing worked. It took drastic measures for me to quit. I'm glad I did. Now just the smell of smoke upsets my stomach. Keep up the good work. You can do it!!!

Yeah, I did it before I can do it again. Before the first time I quit, I had smoked for 19 years. I ended up in the ER due to heart skipping beats because of thyroid storm. This new doctor had totally messed up my meds…. I since switched doctors and also am a lot more pushy about decisions regarding my health. But yeah, anyways… that trip to the ER scared me enough that I quit. I tried a lot of other things before that, too. Problem is that I am a true addict. I love smoking. But I gotta quit again. So here we go.

Oh my gosh, what a precious swap! Letsquilt, you made such a happy, carefree piece for KLTQuilts. And, it reminds us northerners that spring is coming.

Here's a sneak peek of the mug rug I am doing for rwquits. Third time's a charm they say...

FYI-The camera/lighting are showing this fabric to be much more yellow than is true.
