Thank you all for the well wishes, good to know I was misses. Dorothy, it's the simple way of doing things, or a beginners way, or, in my case, I can't do binding on small things all that neatly, so I opt out. i'm a wimp when it comes to small bindings.

I've always heard the 'inside out' method called "birthing" a quilt. It is an acceptable method for small things, like mug rugs and coasters. Some people even do their big quilts that way.

ok here is a picture of a post card with the pigs that I had mentioned. I know weird but there are a ton of them that are vintage that have pigs. Looked it they are considered lucky. guess in times of famine they were sure a lucky thing to own. I wanted to show you that there are tons of ideas of what you can make for your partner next month. vintage post cards give me tons of interesting ideas. my favorite one? a turkey wearing holsters, guns in wings ready to take on the world for thanksgiving. He has this great cowboy hat on which I love. I love turkeys, love cowboys its a win win post card and I had to have it. I have several from each holiday that I love to put up with my other décor. dork ? yes I am. but a happy dork!

Honestly I don't care which I get. Since I am Irish St. Patty's is fine too.

Only shade (hue whatever) of green I am not a fan of is the olive/drab
green. Pretty much all of colors of green I like, including lime, and neon.

I'll be happy with anything. I do love critters. kittys especially, but I love it all.
any green will do me, not picky. how can I say I don't like something, bc it's part of the design and it needs to be there.
Green is not my number one favorite color, but I found a beautiful green for easter, and so far have bought 4 yrs of it. i'd say I like it. yes.
