Mug Rug Swap for May! "How does your garden grow?" is the theme!
#211
oh boy you guys are zooming right along!
That machine embroidery is so perfect. I wonder is that something manually done or is there a pattern for what you are doing? guess we will have to wait to see what you send! darn it! I always think I need to know right now but truth is I can wait like everyone else. just not as gracefully I am loving the surprises coming your way. I bet there will be so many happy campers this month.
I garden in my dreams Dfelker. I know it would be snack food here. for everyone. but me! I used to garden a ton. back in the old days when bending wasn't dangerous lol. I had eggplant, every variety of tomatoes, pumpkins, watermelon, zucchini, peppers hot and regular, and all the spices you might need. Back when I lived in a lovely mild climate. Here think most would grow but the growing season is so short its harder for the longer to grow plants. I also did not have deer living in my yard. so I grow in my mind. I have never tried onions but always had green onions and chives. I would have a giant hissy fit if I looked out and there was a bunch of deer munching on my plants. omg!
share what you have whether you are growing it yourself or wishing you were. Flowers? is it a floral garden you wish you had or are growing? or is it the veggies? or perhaps an orchard of wonderful fruit trees? I think we haven't seen those yet.. surprise us! be creative, be unusual.. go with the color of a garden vs actual garden fabrics. the choice is all yours!
