Jaba, allergic to Cats! Is that even possible! LOL

My cats rule the house, I told my hubby that the cats were under the Christmas tree all the time and Bella, my 22 lb baby would knock off the low ornaments and play with them. He said "no way, not Bella!" Well we took down the tree and my tree skirt had a coat of yellow cat hair! No, she was never under the tree! LOL I did learn to put the really nice decorations up on the higher branches.

I love Valentines, or anything really. Being someone who makes all the time and loves to give, I think it is great doing these swaps, finally get to get something back that the person understand the work involved!

I have not started my Mug Rug for the swap, but I will when I get my name. Do we give one to the person we get one from like the DQ exchange or will it be a random surprise that you will get in the mail from some one different that who you send one to??

oh good question to which the answer is in the first part of the sign up I imagine. I would put my quarter on .. not the person your sending to. but well a suprise right? now feeling quilty lol about wanting to make valentines I just was thinking hearts I guess. brown and teal ones for Jaba and lets see.. yellow and blue beach ball for Marybeth plus one large one for her cats food bowl in orange so you cant see the hair.. and a chicken one with a heart in its beak for.. ok ok I am making hearts but will keep the option open to make more if my sweetheart of the month club partner. it is the time of year I am afraid. I am a serious holiday bug. I love my holidays big time. worst month? June and August. end up with three months of patriotic because well summer means fireworks and.. picnics and red/white/blue and see we need more good holidays. lol. worse those years when it seems easter is right next to st. patricks day. oh no! no time to enjoy those decorations!

Finished my Mug Rug for the swap on New Years Day and hope my swap partner likes it as much as I do. I'm all into holidays. I decorate for snow, valentines, st. patricks, Easter, summer, 4th of July, labor day, Halloween, Fall and Christmas. My tree in the front hall gets quite a workout. I keep Hobby Lobby in business buying little white lites to keep in lite all the time. Anyway, Happy New Year. Looking forward to getting names.

Nelco, I don't know if this helps, but there is a way to get Excel to randomly sort a list for you. If you are managing a swap and add the names to a list in Excel as people join, then you can copy/paste the names into a 2nd tab and sort the list with just a couple formulas. Then you use another formula to pull their partner over to the tab where you have the list with all their information and you're ready to start notifying people who their partners are.

LOL, I'm such a geek. I was lying in bed thinking about this last night....
