awwwwww... The J-6 Granny Weaver is beautiful. This is why I am doing 3 sets. I WANT one of all of them. :-) Speaking of which, I need to get busy. I have two sets half way done.

That looks like a hairy block, how have you done it?

Oh my, that does look like a hard one to do. Are you paper piecing?

I thought the block I picked, J-3 Rick's VolleyBall Net was hard. I think yours is a bit more difficult.

i've redrafted this block. i haven't tested it out yet though to see how it works in real life.

the little diamonds can now be paper pieced and there are slight Y types seams but you might find this new design to be easier to put together.

its the pattern i plan to use when the block comes up in the cyber block pattern.

check it out and let me know what you think. if you decide to try it let me know if it was successful.

i did paper-piece. my problem has been the "Y" seems. i have already cut many of them. i think that i am going to try klue's redraft and see how it works for the diamonds. since i have all but one of them cut will try the last one using klue's redraft

Hey gals - I have a question for you. I am doing K-7 Rose of Sharing for my 3rd set of blocks. There are 2 ways to do this block:

Divide it into 4, applique each of the 4 pieces separately and then sew back into a block,

    OR

Do the background as one piece with a one piece rose applique on top.

Is it okay if I decide which way to do it, or is there a preferred way for the swap? Want to be sure I do it right being a first time swapper with you gals

    Thx for your opinion,
