    Well done!!

I only have a couple left to do and I'm finished three sets. Did contemplate doing four, but reality slapped me round the head and I'll stick with three. ;-)
So excited - mailing mine to Kelly tomorrow!!!! And BlueChicken, reality got to me, too and I also stopped at three sets. These little blocks are addictive, but I am so not ready to do another set of 18!
come join in on the cyber block party and spend the next 18 months with us making your very own jane quilt.

i just posted the first set of blocks so there's still plenty of time to get on board.

I am so considering jumping in on the cyber party....I want to use my stash, but my DH buried it in our basement somewhere when our daughter was born almost 6 years ago....due to my recent surgery, I'm yet unable to dig thru "basement stuff" to try to find it. I am itching to go on a fabric hunt!

send your DH down there to find that stuff and jump on in.

tell him there's nothing more sexy than a man digging around in a basement looking for quilting fabric - its just too hot for words

Ha! Wish I could, but I've relied on him so much these past several weeks to do practically everything around here while I'll recovered (and quilted on the couch), that the guilt would be too much for me to stand. Tax season for us starts Jan 2nd and I lose him until May-June. He really needs a break now, however short. Once I am up to it, I'll head downstairs with my almost 6 year old and go on a scavenger hunt - she'll love it!

my niece is 5 and she loves to sew with me and pick out/play with fabric.

you should keep your eyes out for the "children's doll quilt swap" we did one in november.

esqmommy organized the swap and we all had our children make small quilts to swap with each other.

it was great fun and the children just loved it and receiving a surprise quilt was such a tread for them.

Oh., that sounds like a cool idea. I actually picked up a kid's Singer machine on sale for my daughter for her 6th bday this coming April. She loves to help me sew, but has shied away from making her own quilt. Maybe a swap would give her some incentive...I'll keep my eyes out for it. Thx!
