Been making some things for my Santaee. I know they like homemade, so am filling up the box with unique things that I know she'll enjoy. Clue for the day? You have lots of pine trees in your state.
You must have my name, Maine is the Pine Tree State.

Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to all those in the Great White North. We have a little over 6 weeks before we pack on the calories.

Hint for the day: I've had whales of fun in your state!
Keep the clues coming, You must be my SS. Whale watching is a big business in Maine. MY DH & DD see whales all the time when they are off-shore lobster fishing.

If my SS is wondering if I read or get magazines, yes I do. I get subscriptions to 5 quilt mags and have been reading the Elizabeth Casey series. I still need the last 2 in the series "Let it Sew" and "Remnants of Murder".
Hint for the day: she likes 2 1/2" strips

Someone had asked about books and I started to answer but then got side-tracked. Anyway, I read a lot but usually pick up my favorites, as soon as they come out in paperback. However, I've never read any of the quilt mysteries and would welcome any of those. Used books are fine, as long as they don't have cigarette smoke residue on/in them. The smoke residue gives me horrible sinus headaches, which take a long time to go away . . . and as I've learned from another swap, having them sprayed with Fabreeze, only makes things worse.
