Or is it a case of majority rules? this is my first SS swap here.
Terri posted awhile back that she would leave it up to us. I just did the research from last years swap to find out what we did. I'm glad everyone so far has agreed with Dec. 8th.

Morning all! Well, it's raining just a little bit right now, but the weather man says we'll be getting up to 4" this afternoon! We desperately need the rain, but not all at once! The ground is still wet from the rains the other day, so this is just going to run off. Hopefully into the lake, as it's pretty low. Good day for a nice nap!

Today's hint: You must be patriotic, 'cuz you sure do like the military!

"Redwork" can also be done in green or blue or any favorite color, just so it's all in a single color.
Thanks cookyIN. I thought it must be a special sort of quilting pattern, but it exactly what it says eh? Redwork.

Oh, I just love my yorkie, Whisket to death, he's almost 15 and going down hill, he as you say goes every where with me as well. He sleeps in the bend of my knees at night and the small of my back, wonder if this is why they bother me so much?? When I'm in my sewing room he sleeps under the table by me feet, watch Tv he's right on the couch next to me, a true friend indeed.

I have had a elf check in with her and Help me get some more info one b/c she didn't give much on the info sheets. I have done some research, did you know that u can click on a persons name, it will take u to their profile THEN, you can click on "find latest posts" and see the date, the category and the response they made? This is how I know (she is alive and well b/c she makes posts most days but on other forum here on QB, just not here .
Maybe she's just got lots of quilting to finish up on?
Maybe she's working hard on YOUR package?
Maybe she just joined for the goodies I'd send??

I used to be in the monthly SS swap, but got burned a few times, not getting a package (well I did have an angel a couple of times) . Then others I'd get we're flops. However I did get a few really over the top packages from some awesome SS. But more flops then great. It's been almost a year probably since I joined in on another swap. I decided to do this one b/c I did have fun with it last year, . But am thinking its not much fun this year. Can't joke around and tease my SS. Ill finish up her box and get it in the mail later this week.

Dragging my tail, or my lips which ever it is, I can't tell right now. So sad, Thanks for letting me share with you all. Have a good night.
Happy Quilting tomorrow or should I say....later on today.
That's pretty sad, that your person hasn't posted even once. I think a lot of the folks just see it as a 'box swap' and nothing else. I don't understand that way of thinking. If I just wanted stuff, I'd go buy my own. My SS-ee isn't active in this thread, either . . . and I really, really wish she was! I'm having fun trying to guess who has my name but it'd be much more fun, if I could tease someone, as well.

Well, my SS-ee's gift is almost finished. I've been working on something, that's been giving me trouble. Was using something, that I've used many times before, but got a bit too 'serious' with it and learned that too much 'attention' will render it useless. I discovered this, just as I thought the item was finished. Had to start over, using an alternate method, which requires quite a bit more time, between steps. We're talking nearly a day instead of minutes (between steps), to do it properly. Murphy's Law, in action! I just hope my SS-ee likes it, when she gets it.

Thanks, Sounds like a good one, I still have a few apples left. Not quite eating quality so either more pies or apple butter.
