Wow, Nelco, you got a lot more snow than we did in Carlton -- but we also will still have white stuff Sunday, since it's so darn cold. I only remember having a white "Christmas" (package opening day) once before!

Morning all! Tomorrow is opening day! Yep, just 35 hours from now we'll be opening those boxes! And everyone has received them! I can just see everyone sitting in their favorite chairs a ripping & a tearing at all the wrappings to reveal the goodies in their boxes. Oh the fun of Christmas! Just like when we were kids. Makes me happy just thinking of it! Tonight will be like Christmas Eve. Will you put milk & cookies out for dear Santa? Or wait & have them when we open? Hmmm, since Santa has already arrived, guess we'll have to do something else. Maybe a nice hot toddy to go with the opening, as it's frightfully cold where most of us are. Maybe some wine? Hot cocoa with some coconut rum? All sound good to me! Guess I'll make up my mind tomorrow.

Today's hint: Over the river & through the woods to Grandmother's house we go. Yep, you're a Grandma!

Yipee !! That is wonderful news. Everyone has received their packages. I just might be here tomorrow after all. There is no negative without some small gain. My job has closed all week because of the weather. Boo, big thumbs down. But, it does mean I might be able to be here on opening day. Will have to wait till tomorrow to see what the weather does tonight. But for now, am home safe and warm.

For all those that can't be with us tomorrow. We know you are here in spirit. *We will be thinking warm thoughts for you.* And will be looking forward to your posting pictures of your quilty goodies and seeing how fondly thought of you were by your Secret Santa.

Do You Hear What I Hear?
Said the night wind to the little lamb
Do you see what I see
Way up in the sky little lamb
Do you see what I see
    A star, a star
    Dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite
Said the little lamb to the shepard boy
Do you hear what I hear
Ringing through the sky shepard boy
Do you hear what I hear
    A song, a song
    High above the tree
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea
Said the shepard boy to the mighty king
Do you know what I know
In your palace wall mighty king
Do you know what I know
    A child, a child
    Shivers in the cold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Said the king to the people everywhere
    Listen to what I say
    Pray for peace people everywhere
    Listen to what I say
    The child, the child
    Sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light
    The child, the child
    Sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
