I was so worried that my partner would be disappointed with her gifts, that I just kept finding and stuffing! I delivered two big boxes to the post office, now keep in mind half of it was from weekly trips to thrift stores and a third was "buttonie" things that I make, but after 40 years of sewing I must say I have a good eye for "buried sewing treasures" I loved putting it all together! My partner had two nice big spools of thread in my package, my grandson who is only two came over and puts one in each hand like they are salt & pepper shakers and pretends he's "cooking" the tree. He has so much fun with it every day I don't have the heart to put them away, now that's a REAL treasure that "quilting dragon" picked out for me.

Did anyone follow the $20 guideline? I followed the rules. I hope my SS was not disappointed.

    not to worry.
some of start shopping for next year with the Black Friday sales and every great sale we can find.
when you get something for 60-90 % off you buy. it goes a long, long way.

Also, some of us love to make special things with supplies we already have on hand, so... Start shopping and making things early and next year will be so fun!!! I'm excited!

I didn't follow the 20.00 rule, I just packed up my box as much as I could, but following the rules are fine.
