I was thinking of doing an extra block from AOTH and using it as the center for the Doll Quilt for this month, but my partner likes dark blue, red, and green and those colors will not show up well. I might use a lighter background fabric and use her colors to see what happens and then add borders.

It sounds like it will be awesome. I'm sure she's going to love it.

Thanks for the blog love! I'm having a giveaway this week, if you want to leave a comment: http://nostalgiccafe.blogspot.com/20...-and-bobs.html

In other news, there is a Doll Quilt Contest right here: http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/2011/10/...k-doll-quilts/ There are wonderful prizes. I'd love to see some of you enter. You can enter up to two quilt.
oh, Chele, Oh my word. There's some talent already signed up over there. Some adorable little quilts. But, I'm thinking about it. If I can get mine done in time, I'm going try to enter just for the fun of it. Thanks for letting us know.
