Hi all, I have finished my little doll quilt and it's my favorite one so far. I incorporated two new skills that I learned in the last couple of months. Hand embrodiery and a new binding technique. And where it's not perfect yet... I'm loving it. I have my partners address and will be mailing it on Monday. I hope she's still participating. I have not heard from her since I got her address. (I don't know if she's gotten mine because she never responded.) But, I'm going to assume everything is good. I'm going to take better pictures of it tomorrow when the light is better. And I will post them next week. I'm already planning my doll quilt for next month. I hope everything gets better by then. I so love doing these.

I made two dqs this month, just got confused and made too many blocks, but was able to finish two if any one needs a partner. So sorry we have some partners Mia......just pm me if you would like me to swap with ya! Wouldn't be hard to whip up more if need be........I found out I love this pattern I did, lol. My partners is in the mail as of today.

I have yours quilted and I'm not sure I am happy with it so it is on my design wall so I can observe it for a while

Making the HST is not the problem, it is getting them to match up nice and neatly with sewing them all together. Guess I need more practise

I got 2 beautiful DQs in 2 consecutive days. It's great getting them in the mail I recieved one from my November partner Muv that is just lovely and very well done and she even handquilted it. You did a fantastic job Muv. And I love the earrings you made. I can't wait to wear them. I can't take pictures so go ahead and post it if you took one. I have it hanging on my cube at work and everyone loves it!

I also received a beauty from scrappylouise from the october swap. I can't wait to take it to work also. It's a perfect Fall quilt. I must be living right to get such pretty quilts Please post a picture if you took one.
