quilty-louise--glad you like the little tree! i call it a van gogh christmas. vincent and i both love bright swirly colors! lol. i figure it can provide a tree view all year around. we had a lovely t'day in dc with my sister and kids. didn't bring any food home== one of the best parts of having the meal at someone else's home! i'll be ready to do another dq by january, so please add me to the list! for the next month i'll be finishing swap blocks! these interactive swaps are even more fun than making too many quilts for family, i think! 8-)

My package arrived today from Lynnie25 and it was so special!! A big thank you for all of the items!! First, the DQ is PP'd and hand-quilted! The back has a lovely fabric with sewing notions printed on it. Then, I received this beautiful journal cover that is made of silky fabrics and stitched with shiny gold thread!! Wow.
