It's a really interesting quilt Marion! Reminds me of a parquet floor. Love the look you got!

I've been mulling over my options and may have an idea. If I do the background quilting w/ black thread on the back and white on the front maybe the heavier quilting wouldn't detract from the simplicity of the design. I'm going to try on some scraps and see.

Here is a pretty - diaper bag/carryall for a friend of my mom's. It has inside side pockets and a zippered large pocket and can be used as a tote bag after the baby gets big.

It is fabulous, Marion. Love the fabrics and embroidery. An awesome finish.

I am slowly getting work done on the GFG. I was struggling with a terrible cold this past week and will get back to it tomorrow. I am still mentally figuring out how to quilt this. So far I am stumped. Right now I am working on the filler triangles but after that I will be working off the cuff to figure the edges, a border and quilting.
    peace

Wow Marion, that is lovely. Ube I cant wait to see what you come up with. Having been the lucky recipient of two of your works, I can say that the result will be fabulous.
