R, thanks so much for your encouraging words. it is always fun to come up with new ideas and putting them to the design test. This WH has been a fun one and a challenge to create. No fear of EPP anymore! May I borrow your ornament idea? They are so cool.

Sure Ube it is just a simple thing of putting a back on the DK and I didnt'want to turn it and lose the edge so I appliqued the edge. I love the DKS as you know.

I'll watch to see what you come up with!

My other wh was not fixable, b/c of the silky fabric removing the quilting stitches was not an option. So here is the beginnings of attempt number 2

I see really pretty colors K. If I may ask, what happened to the flower quilt? It was looking so good.

My fmq happened to it. I thought I could do it since I practiced on scraps of the same material, but when I quilted on the wh it just looked horrible, I hate it. I tried removing the quilting, but it leaves holes since the fabric is silky. Since I ruined it I didn't have the heart to start over w/ the same pattern.

Sorry to hear that your first choice didn't work out and I am looking forward to seeing the progress on your next one. So far I like what I see.

Good morning every one. First and most important thing of the day is to be safe if you are going out and about for the next few days. May we all get through this storm without too much hassle.

Here is the EPP, quilted! Simple straight line quilting to accent the shapes.

Ube... your WH just keeps getting better and better. I so love your design. Did you actually have a pattern or did you make up one of your own? I have never tried EPP but this makes me want to. Absolutely beautiful.

Kassaundra...I'm looking forward to see where your WH leads. Pinterest has some very interesting convergence quilts.

I am keeping this one a two way convergence, I like the simplicity of it so far. I may try a 4 way convergence on my next one. I do have a surprise planned for this one though, that I am excited about. Google, bing, pintrest all have some AMAZING convergence ideas.
