Hi A, it's good to see you stopping by. This WH is simple 1" hexies in an altered grandmothers flower garden pattern. What makes it look different is that I laid them out in a pattern that looked cohesive. The original plan was to have green hexies surround each block (GFG) but they ended up being so far apart it didn't look right.

The first test was putting them against each other to look like a OBW but they looked messy. I just kept moving the blocks around until I liked what I saw then just filled in the empty spots with diamonds and triangles. It was all trial and error, yes it was!

I am so very glad you like it.

I'm Done, I'm done! These will be the last pictures of the EPP until the recipient posts it.

I had some help from the QB in the pictures section to name this quilt. Thimblebug6000 came up with
Pistachio ice cream with a cherry on top. I fell for it. To long a name so I shortened it to

    Name: Cherry On Top

Next was to write a haiku to go along with the theme

    The end

I hope everyone enjoyed following the creation of the EPP. I love every stitch.
    peace to all

    and stay safe out there

Okay here's the pic of "Eufaula Sunset" (a lake near my home) it is bound and quilted and waiting for the surprise. It will be a little bit before that is done since it will be hand work. (for a hint it will be a silhouette)

Wow these are so cool. Im with ube - right in the middle of the blizzard, yuck! My poor Bijon had to go potty and bounded out the back door only to sink in the snow. Not good weather for small white dogs! Will takes pics when we get some daylight. Fire for me today and some crochet work!

Stay safe J. Here in PA we missed the worst of it with only 5". You are right in the middle of it.
A good day to stay cozy at home.

Thanks a lot for that for that bit of info. I can feel the warmth! Storm Juneo just hit the edge of PA with 4" and no wind. JNCT14 is smack dab in the center of it.

Stay safe up there in the north East.
