Rennie, I would be absolute happy to receive any of the WHs. These ladies are so talented. The one that I wasn't happy with has not been sent to another member who will be doing some embroidery on it, then she will send it back to me to complete. We are going to use it as a surprise to a very special lady here. But I am glad you liked it, I will definitely try that pattern again, it's from the book by Eleanor Burns, Applique in a Day.

Jeanne, that will make it even prettier! I find that sometimes (well, let's be honest - all the time!) when I make something, I don't necessarily love it right away - or even like it - but if I ignore it for a few days and then go back and look at it, I tend to develop a fondness for it. (GRIN).

Hey Rennie thats very pretty. Almost like seed packets. I am looking at patterns and thinking about designs for next WH. I love this swap- my technique gets a little better each time.

Sorry I haven't been posting on here. Was on vacation for 3 weeks and have been playing catch up since being back. I am almost done with 2 and still can't make up my mind. Love these panels with the sayings on them, have them in my sewing rooms but I like the feel of this Japanese style garden too. Need to make up my mind for which to send.....do you have a preference whoever you are??[ATTACH=CONFIG]511240[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]511241[/ATTACH]Just have the bindings to finish sewing.

Love the pink and green with the fabulous Japanese fabric. Very different and creative. The saying on the panel is really nice too, but oh that pink and green!

Okay swap buds, I have another show and tell, just for the fun of it.

2+ years on the design wall. Took a long, long time to figure my plan of attack on tis one to get the purple centers into the quilt. I finally resigned myself to hand appliqueing them in place. I had to open the seams to insert them. Just finished!
