J, lucky girl! Isn't this just darling. This one has one of my very favorite fabrics of all time. I love that little blue flower.

I am glad there are people out there that like to do machine embroidery. I just never got into it though my machine will do it. I think I have the first and original home embroidery machine and have never even tried it once. I think I have a fear of "Oh no, not another craft to absorb me syndrome". I'll stick to my piecing and enjoy what other people make, like Marion, Jennie and skaduzy. Great work girls.

I haven't seen your quilt show up to anyone yet. Slow mail!
    peace

J, so glad you like the wall hanging. As I said, my first attempt at fmq - not proving to be very good at it - but determined to try again sometime. The wall hanging is well traveled - took the long route - but should look better once it is rested.

The post it holder was done on the embroidery machine - love that machine!

I hung the wall hanging I received (thanks again, Ube) but I don't like the spot where I put it so I will put it somewhere else this week-end and hopefully once it is settled, get a picture on here.

The mail came today and guess what was in it! A package with a beautiful wallhanging and some extras all the way from the UK. CarolinePaj sent me a beauty. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Rennie I thought you did a great job with the FMQ.I love the squares - I always wanted a hanging with seed packets orcflowers and this is perfect. That noteholder is really clever!

    Default Happiness!

Here is a picture of the wall hanging I received from CarolinePaj. It really is beautiful and her sewing is perfect. I love the colors she used.
She sent some pins, 2 fat quarters, a postcard from a local quilt shop, some buttons and some chocolate bunnies. They were delicious!
Thank you Caroline, I love it and it is going to get the place of honor above my sewing machine.

Skaduzy, what a lovely wall hanging! Every time I see one posted here I think "I want to try that" -- but just not enough days in a week and weeks in the year!

I received the most beautiful hanging from JNCT14. Thank you so much, now if only I could figure out how to post a picture. I knew how before, and now I am stumped. How could I forget so quickly. I will keep trying. I feel so badly about it.
