Hi everyone. The knee surgery I had was a success. Now the healing begins and in a week I should know if the procedure
worked. My goodness Percocet is a grand drug.

Here is what my recovery looks like:

The healing one is on the left side of the picture. Eddy, my assistant is in the center.
    peace to all

Love your Eddy. My Wilfred needs to learn to sew-he loves blankets.

Very, very pretty J. More tiny work. There seems to be a lot of that going around! Anxious to see the center after this pretty border.

Is this called Seminole patch work?

There is definitely a Seminole flair to these blocks, Ube, but I think these are just standard 4 patch on a slant. The pattern came from a quilt pattern that is composed of these as panels, with bluework panels in between. I scaled it back to the two panels, with a redwork panel that will go in between. It is surprisingly large - approximately 21"W x 35"H. Here is a picture of all the panels plus top and bottom borders before I put it together. If you look closely at the center panel, you will see the redwork pattern that I am going to hand quilt.

    J.

I like the looks of that. I am working on a redwork project as well and doing little knitting for relaxation. However, at this early point I am anticipating a hand applique project for my wall hanging. The operative word here is "anticipating".

Rhonda, I will keep trying to post photos of projects.

Whatever works Aurora! Pics are great but not required some people can't post pics for whatever reason.

Just hope you have lots of fun with this!

Tell you what, this is going to be a nice wallhanging, if a bit big. I just layered it this morning and as soon as I get done with a baby afghan, I will start the hand quilting. I will post a new pic tomorrow.

Aurora, what is your redwork project? I am doing this one because I always wanted to do a white on white but they aren't suitable for wall hangings in my mind. I thought this would work and I do like the border pattern.
