oooohhhhh, I forgot to put a label on it. Sorry. It's a secret, but I'll put a label in an envelope for you.

Uh OHHHH!!! I forgot all about the label, and mine's already in the mail!!!

Well, I'll wait a few days and them PM the new owner and let her know who it came from.

Thanks for all the compliments. I made a large french braid (pic below) and I love it! It's my favorite "sicky" quilt!! I bundle up in it on the couch when I'm sick.
OOOH, I want to make one!!! I've seen a book at Joanns on French braid quilts. Is that what you used? If not, what was the name of the book, kit, leaflet, whatever, that had that beautiful pattern? Makes getting sick almost worth it just for the snuggle factor.
    bev. :]

The only thing making me feel better about not having mine done yet is that I haven't gotten one yet. Good things come to those who wait ;)

We've had a crazy weekend. While getting the Christmas ornaments out, discovered we had a leak in the plumbing to the shower. Thankfully it was only the water line going in! Two trips to town for parts, we now have everything back together - and a huge hole in the wall. I'm trying to convince DH that as long as it's partly ripped up, it's time to replace the shower enclosure / wall thingy. He's not convinced yet, but I'm hopeful!

DH's mom, who has been in a nursing home since discharge from the hospital last Christmas, has been running a temp and was transferred back to the hospital. She is 91 and has Alzheimers. So far, she still knows immediate family, but it is so sad to see her deteriorate slowly.

It looks like the quilt I'm sending off will be a New Year's package instead of a Christmas one. The blocks in it are darned cute, though, if I do say so myself!
