JoAnnGC, that is a really cute quilt. I love the way you turned the corners on the lace! Great job!

Ray, I hope you get your quilt. Do you know who had your name? I hope it isn't lost in the mail. You do too good of work to not get a doll quilt in exchange. I'd love to be your partner some time!
My hubby sent some photos to a friend a while back, even going in the PO to get it sent and they put the postage needed on it in the PO. His friend didn't get it in a reasonable time, so after talking to our mail lady, he sent another package, also going into the PO to send it. A few days ago, she asked him about the first package. He told her that he'd sent another set of photos and that package made it. She told him that the first one would too, as it'd just come back marked that it didn't have enough postage on it. She had her boss make it right and they sent it on too. Think of what it cost to send it back when one PO thought the other one hadn't put enough postage on it! Then the first one (our PO) sent it back to the second one. Did we get our money's worth on that one?

Here is the DQ I received from amma, she does such intricate work.
I'm not upset for the wait, I know how life has a way of keeping a person from doing what was planned, and doing what needs to be done (like family needs) first.
After all this is just a fun sideline we all do AFTER all of life needs are DONE first.
I would be her swap partner anytime.
