I agree 100%, this group of friends means lots to me, number one, I know my work, tho simple is appreciated and loved. not thrown into a closet or into the pet pen,( sad experience I had with step daughter)..... I thoroughly enjoy every person on this board......... and I once again thank the hostess's for their work.

    thanks abunch .......jacie

    Just my 2-cents worth.
You could not make anything that would be a disappointment. Your love and care are sewn into all you make.

You ladies need to change the subject!! You are depressing me! I am only 31yrs old and I love making quilts for family, should I not make them gifts (just in case they will treat them badly?)
I give from the heart, what you choose to do with that is between you and God. I have an aunt who says "quilting is for Little Old ladies!" I just let stuff roll off my back! I have made quilts for my in-laws only to hear, I would have rather.... (fill in the blank!)
I just figure its their loss NOT MINE! I made it with PRAYERS and LOVE... Let God do the rest!!
(I hope I didnt offend anyone... Quilters are the best! Its just easy to jump on a negative band wagon and I NEED somewhere to go that is possitive and uplifting not negative.)
Sent with Quilted Hugs and LOVE!! :)

OK said I was not going to do the Nov/Dec swap, but I changed my mind after seing the beautiful doll quilts sneak a peaks. I'll be happy to take any quilt that someone will do for me. Will pm my address. Can someone tell me how this swap works. Do I do two quilts?, send at the same time, or one at a time? Have ideas but have to wash dishes first.

You do one quilt for one person, unless you sign up for a couple of quilts. When you are finished with it, you send it to your partner. After the 31st, chele will give you a partner and her or his address to make a little quilt fort for. This time it is a secret, so you will make a doll quilt for someone and someone else will make one for you. the rest of the year, each month we have partners where we each make a little quilt for the other one.

On the other hand, if you want to make more, you can always send me a little quilt! :)
