    Hi Kelly,
I received the doll quilt you made for me. It is adorable! I love it..the fabric is so cute. The top has folded stars and squares. You do very nice work. I am going to hang it on the wall next to my sewing machine. It will really brighten up my room.
Kelly also sent some fat quarters in nice bright colors, a stamp to match and a handmade card. You are so creative.
    Thank you so much.
    Peace and Blessings,

Hooray, I was hoping you would like it! I was lucky enough to get a charm pack of that fabric in a previous swap from zjquiltymama and thought it would be great for a cheery little quilt, it is such fun fabric!

I learned a lot (like don't back quilts with a textured fabric, lot's of broken stitches and forget about machine quilting! and to really look at the fabric placement- I can see a huge puddle of white in the upper left corner that if I were to do over I could have dispersed around the quilt more) and I really enjoyed the process, lessons included.

I stitched the binding down one day while I was out to the park with my boys, enjoying the last of the good weather. There was something so satisfying about being able to sit there happily stitching in the sunshine, I'm glad to have that memory (it may sound foolish, but I really had a great time that day).

You have a very balanced eye...the colors are perfect. Great job! My granddaughter is here with me..she is 2. She keeps covering her doll up with it. I hate to break it to her..but it is going up on the wall after she falls asleep.
    Thank you again..I love it.

I know what you mean Kelly. With each swap I have participated in, no matter what the project is, I have learned and enjoyed the learning process.
