January is just around the corner. We're going to have a fun theme for January. Same as last year. Make a quilt representing your city, state or country. It can be as simple as an orange-colored quilt for California or as fancy (or funny) as you want it to be. Have fun.

I just received my quilt from my partner - Doty in NYC.
It is so beatutiful and when I get home from work, I will take a picture and post.
Thank you so much Dotty. I really love it so very much.
I am nearing the end of mine and was hoping to get out before Thanksgiving, but my partner may have to wait until after.

I started my doll quilt last night. I searched through every book and magazine I had until something hit me. After finding several things I liked..I combined them and came up with a patchwork/embroidery doll quilt.
Mine will be heading north.
Peace and Blessings,

As promised, albeit a week late, here is the cute little patch quilt I received from Jeanette Goodall. She did a seasonal theme throughout. It is too cute. She also sent a nice crocheted pony ornament. It will make a nice addition to my collection. Thank you so much for the goodies and card.
What a nice treat for what I consider my last DQS for sometime. I will be taking 21 hours next semester so that I can graduate in May instead of next December. I will be too busy to join any swaps till later. Thanks to all for their great little quilts and I'll see you on board.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
