nhnative, i am driving thru salem and it will be a nightmare with all the traffic. they estimate 250,000 people visit "haunted happenings". it is a fun time tho. the city opens its doors to halloween festivities.

also, i would like to get some ideas for next year's theme. Wacky Holidays was fun, you all are amazing creative thinkers. My thought was to assign two letters to each month and you could design a postcard starting with that letter. For example: January would be assigned the letters "A" and "M". You could make an Apple or a Mirror. or we could do artsy things like "wavy", "circular", "straight", etc. Let me know your thoughts.
It pushed me to think outside my norm

2018 challenge
I like the artsy type of challenge. It would challenge us to use some of the usual quilting ideas that we may not use. Could also include color selection, specific quilt pattern, type of fabric, hand quilting,appliques, landscape, solids,the list goes on.
Would we use the same size or another size or shape?? Could make a banner or runner with the ones we collect.

I also enjoyed holidays, but I am fairly new to the group. Perhaps a color theme each month? That would open it to things that are that color, or artsy using that color. I also like the alphabet. Thanks for your work, cookiezenmilk!
