I would like to take this opportunity to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I am very thankful for all of my board friends, I feel as though you all are a new family of mine. Hope everyone is able to spend time with all of their loved ones.

Well said Armylady. When I first started swapping in the Boomerangs - someone said that there are those who may be housebound and this is one major source of interaction. I have met some of these wonderful woman and was housebound for a period and understand truly how easily we become a family. Hopefully we will meet up one day
    Happy Being Thankful Day

K-Roll, the king tut pc is absolutely amazing!
ArmyLady, what a wonderful sentiment. We certainly have had a great year of creativity.
I finally figured out what we will do in 2018 and hope all of you continue into the next year.

abdconsultant: what gorgeous fabrics, love the postcard's fabric in particular.

And I am CRYING over the French toast - what cuteness!

Sleepy Hollow, if you like Egyptian, check out the Brooklyn Museum if you ever go to NY. 3rd floor, simply wonderful, and if I recall, was the very first museum in US to assemble a collection of Egyptian (and Assyrian!) antiquities.
Perhaps you've been there already...but if you haven't: recommended! 5 stars!

I've never been to New York, but I'll have to put the Brooklyn Museum on my list
